Meet the Tony Stark of the real world- Elon Musk

Love IronMan? We all do. He’s so cool with his tech edge to everything he thinks and does, isn’t he? Oh-and ever wondered HOW he could’ve possibly designed those incredible suits he wears to save the world every time? Me too. It’s quite fascinating. But so far, it was only in comics and movies. So is Tony Stark not real? Wrong. He is very real and currently living in California, United States.

He goes by the name Elon Musk. Is he a “genius billionaire playboy philanthropist”? Maybe(He is a genius and a billionaire). Did he make a real-world Ironman suit? Not yet. But he has done some pretty amazing work in the world of technology and you should know what they are!

Quoting Wikipedia,

He is the founder, CEO, and CTO of SpaceX; co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla Motors; co-founder and chairman of SolarCity; co-chairman of OpenAI; co-founder of Zip2; and founder of X.com which merged with PayPal of Confinity. As of June 2016, he has an estimated net worth of US$11.5 billion, making him the 83rd wealthiest person in the world.

If you want to know what this guy is all about, check out some of his best inventions.

  1. The self-driving electric car by Tesla Motors

Ever heard of a car that does not need petrol to run? Well, this one falls into that category. It runs entirely on batteries, and the controls are all touch-operated. What’s even cooler, this car doesn’t need a driver. It has an autopilot feature that can navigate it’s way through the traffic, by itself, and come to wherever you want it to, by just a tap on your phone screen. Or, if you’re too tired to hold the steering, just hit the autopilot, sit back, and watch. Amazing! tesla-model-s-alpha-black11

  2. The Hyperloop

Musk’s “most ambitious” idea that was invented in 2013, the Hyperloop is a rail tube transportation system with extremely low pressure, the aims to allow commuters to travel between Los Angeles and San Francisco(560 kilometers) in 35 minutes or less — faster than a commercial flight. The rail system would work in a tube with extremely low air pressure, which would theoretically reduce drag and enable higher speeds at up to 800 miles per hour with lower power consumption. elon_musk_hyperloop_dezeen_936_10

3. Falcon 9 by SpaceX

The Falcon 9 is a two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX for the reliable and safe transport of satellites and the Dragon spacecraft into orbit. The company, SpaceX, is also working on reusable rockets which will orbit the earth in the near future. It also plans on sending people to space commercially.spacex-falcon-9-rocket-landing-on-drone-ship

These were only his top 3. He is also the co-founder of PayPal, the biggest online money transferring company there is. He promises many more such time-changing inventions in the future. He created his first video game(Blastar) when he was just 12 years old, and it fetched him a sum of $500 then(in 1984). He continues to inspire millions of youngsters and is a living example of the ripples true innovation can create, and that innovation might be in each and every one of us. Though still dormant, it’s never too late to realize and unleash it within ourselves. Maybe you will be the inventor of a real world Jarvis, who knows!
