Tanjore Painting

An art form that reflects the rich culture of our country, Tanjore art is one of the oldest forms of art practised in India.

Saloni Kochi started her painting journey when she was 5 years old. 
This is her first traditional Kerala murals painting.
She is 10 years old 5th grader in National Public School, Indiranagar

She learns the art from her mother, Swarna Raja, an award-winning artist who is also the founder of Tanjore Art Studio.
Tanjore Art Studio is dedicated to Royal Art of South India. Also called as ‘Palakai Oviyum’ it is done in Fresco Secco style with natural colour, 24ct gold leaf.
